STEP 1 : find something to paint. I had this selfmade terrain piece
 laying around in a boxmade made from plasticard.

STEP 2: paint it black and ad brown for the second layer of paint.

STEP 3: Give it a rusty look. after this stage ,  use hairspray and salt. and let it dry.

STEP 4: red primer.

STEP 5: Use warm water to take the salt off and finish the job the best you can.

DARK ELDAR

The Kabal : the Blade Denied.

 

The symbol of the Wych Cult of the Blade Denied.

 

 

Wyches are Dark Eldar who have devoted their entire existence to the mastery of gladiatorial fighting. in the arenas of Commorragh they battle each other, slaves and captured beast all for the amusement of the depraved spectators coming from all levels of dark Eldar society.

Whenever the Kabals gather force to raid real space the Archons will go to great lenghts to enlist the support of the Succubi and their Wych Cults.

It took me five hours to complete the Hekatrix. Mostly I paint  gladiators, celts and romans.
But these Dark Eldars are indeed a class of their own. I painted the head first. Drilling a hole in the bottom of her head and putting it on a tooth stick. So it was easy to move her in any direction that  I wanted. This way I could paint her from the right angle. really important to achieve a great paint job! Glue all the parts together from the start,  and you will have difficulties to reach certain areas.
